So 8 months ago

Well, looks like this project is about 8 months behind schedule.  Very 'real girl' I suppose.

September was such a long time ago and so many things have happened since.  May 1st however is a new day (and a new month!).  The sun is shining, my Vitamix is blending, and I am getting ready for a photo shoot this afternoon.

I am back in posting mode this month because I am feeling inspired by Health is Happiness's 30-day smoothie challenge.  I'm using this opportunity to eat as clean (as little processed foods as possible) as I can for the month as well.  I will be posting smoothie recipes and showcasing foods, tracking workouts, home reno projects, and other blog posts or articles that I love.

Here is to the month of May (I love Arcade Fire)!

Project

So here's the thing...

I'm a real girl.

My goals are as follows:


Run multiple races in 2013 (including my first marathon)
Get healthy
Become a certified yoga instructor
Get my butt back to school for September 2013


How is this blog different from the countless others out there? It isn't. I've been inspired and I hope to do the same for someone else.
